General Operational Requirements:

  • Outlet Filtration System should drain to bio-swale/recycler/sewer
  • EPA Approved Hydrocarbon Filters (minimum)
  • ‘No Dumping” Sign Drains to Ocean or waterway
  • Made of Stainless Steel #304
  • Debris Catch or Screen to remove suspended solids
  • Storm Drain Inspection and clean out every 6 months
  • Filter replacement as needed
  • Maintenance Verification & Documentation
  • State of California EPA requires reporting to SMARTS if required
